Country Music MP Draper to play a new tune or risk encore

Tamworth independent MP Peter Draper  is under pressure to vote in favour of forthcoming liquor legislation, with Premier Iemma taking a lead in reform for the country music capitol and NSW.

"We need to make it easy for small venues to stage live gigs without having to have a full liquor licence,"  Premier Iemma said. "It would be great for a small cafe, for example, to be able to get in folk singers or guitar players that would usually only play at big hotels"

In a marginal electorate(1.9% at the last election), and with close fundraising ties to local liquor establishments, Draper is now under scrutiny from NSW music industry, local tourism, and the New England region wine industry to vote in favour of liquor reform.

If you support prosperity for Tamworth Musicians, Tourism, and Wine industry, send MP Peter Draper a drink.
