Paul Gibson invites andrew clennel to lunch
Thats very nice of the Member for Blacktown to ask a journalist to a
pricey lunch. When a Raise the Bar member bumped into MP Paul Gibson
near the lift in Parliament last week, there were no invitations
anywhere, especially after a request to discuss liquor reform that
didn't really go down too well.
This was disappointing, as a lot of people are quite interested in the potential of a more flexible licensing regulation for NSW.
One can be a bit more understanding as to why MP Gibson was not that happy if we read this article. Maybe take it easy on sending drinks to Blacktown for the minute.
The thing is, the Pubs and Clubs have done pretty well - they employ lots of people, make lots of money... we certainly don't want to see them go broke, and thats not really on the cards either, but there should be more opportunities for different types of rooms as well, so some other scenes can be supported.
The worlds round so we can all have centre stage.
Finally.
Almost.
